Tapered Roller Bearings

Tapered roller bearings are separable bearings; the assembly consisting of rollers, cage, and inner ring can be installed separately from the outer ring. The projection lines of all the tapered surfaces converge at the same point on the bearing axis. The rollers are guided by the inner ring flanges. This design allows tapered roller bearings to simultaneously withstand combined radial and axial loads. The axial load capacity of the bearing depends on the contact angle; the larger the angle, the higher the axial load capacity. The internal clearance of the bearing can be adjusted during installation.

Tapered roller bearings can be mainly divided into the following categories:

Single row tapered roller bearings

Matched single row tapered roller bearings

Double row tapered roller bearings

Four row tapered roller bearings

EISENBERG tapered roller bearings are mainly used in automobiles, construction machinery, agricultural machinery, mining equipment, spindle systems, gearboxes, engines, and reducers.
